Serge Birault combines hot chicks and bad ass concepts to produce beautiful digital paintings. Digital art never looked better.

So far, I’ve only seen two people who love the unaired Wonder Woman pilot like I do. I don’t know why most people find it ridiculous. What are they expecting, really? It’s about an Amazon princess trained in warfare but seeks peace by punching people in the face. Sure she sells action figures of herself to fund her crimefighting shenanigans, she struggles in creating her Facebook profile and she straight up murders people, but how is that more ridiculous than the comics version where she fights ancient gods side by side with talking gorilla warriors?
I don’t know what you want out of Wonder Woman and the TV pilot, Internet. Take Wonder Woman as she is. She is caring, she is ruthless, she is strong, she is vulnerable, she is violent and she seeks peace and justice. She looks good too. Stop saying that David E. Kelley and his crew don’t understand comics and they don’t know how superhero stories should be told. Stop wishing for something you can’t even properly define.
Or maybe I only love the pilot because Diana acts like she’s the female version of Jack Bauer. Flawed but absolutely perfect.

Identity Crisis #4 cover by Michael Turner
I shall now post a few covers by Michael Turner who died 3 years ago from today.

It’s been exactly 3 years since Michael Turner died. This is my favorite Michael Turner cover, not that I love everything he did. His work has always been hit or miss for me, but that’s not the point. RIP bro.
