YES! I accidently caught them at Town Center this weekend. I had no intentions of watching in fact the first time I saw them on stage I didn’t have an idea who they were, but this heavily-inked, long-haired dude on the guitars caught my attention. So I listened for a bit and found out that they were actually Metro Station.

I was there too. I saw them when the gig was over and I was like “LOL Now who are these freaks supposed to be?” and I was LOLing all the way to the parking lot.

Tuesday Club

So I used to go to Sidebar El Pueblo with a couple of friends every Tuesday to get shitfaced. Well, they get a little tipsy. I get shitfaced. 15-peso draft beer. Come on.

Hemp Republic’s Bunny Liwanag to Perform in Fete de Musique 2009 in Paris, France!

As the band goes through their own musical journeys, Bunny Liwanag, will finally perform after a long hiatus at the Fete de la Musique 2009 to be held at the Gallerie Talmart in Paris France on June 21, 2009, Sunday.

She will be joined by Filipino artists Joon Claudio, (who also showcases his paintings and artworks at the event), Ian Romo and French musician Vincent Brunier on the saxophone.

The songs “Sabihin Mo” and “Fireflies” are just one of the many songs from the first Hemp Republic album to be played for the first time in Paris. Lets see what shall be in store in the upcoming months for all the other band members from Hemp Republic!!!

We shall keep you posted for more updates from Hemp Republic and all the band members as well.See you all soon and one love! Pinoy reggae for the world!

You know what sucks? All those nights in UPLB that I spent drinking in apartments and bars with all the common friends and drinking circles I had with Bunny, I didn’t get the chance to actually meet her. I think.
